Wacky Wednesday

Today Miss Jeong was away as she wasn't feeling well. So we had the lovely Ms Newman.

We hope you feel well soon Miss Jeong!

Ms Newman asked us to recall the story 'How to Catch a Star' by Oliver Jeffers. She then asked us to point to the title of the story. She then asked us what the author does and what the illustrator does.

We then got asked some final tricky comprehension questions:
What did the boy want to do with a star?
Why did he not see the star in the daytime?
Was it a real star from the sky that he found on the beach?

Christian Studies:
During Christian Studies we sang our favourite song - 'Who's the King of the jungle' we just love singing and dancing during Christian Studies.

After Fruit Play:
Ms Newman was testing our knowledge of numbers 0-10 to see if we could count them and write them. As a class we have really improved.

Miss Mckendry was helping some girls do some writing.  Some girls wrote full sentences all by themselves. WOW!!!

Mrs Abfalter played 'Say a Word game' with a group of girls. This involved blending words without the aid of pictures. SUPER TRICKY!!!
There were two teams and in order to move up the ladder the girls had to blend the word together correctly.
Here are some of the words they were asked to blend.

Please remember to bring in your daughters Portfolio if you haven't already done so.
